It’s Christmas time, folks! It’s that time of year that we snuggle up next to the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa, watch all the Christmas classics and bump tunes like “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.” If you’re doing the Christmas season right, you probably have a couple of Christmas parties to go to, and maybe you’re even hosting one!

No party is complete without a few great games to get your guests having the best time of their lives during the most wonderful time of the year. Here’s a list of some of the most fun Christmas games you can play at your next Christmas party that are sure to be fun for all:

White Elephant

Most folks have played White Elephant at least once before, and for good reason. This game is a perfect way to get your friends, family, or coworkers to show their competitive sides and to get some great, or hilarious, gifts!

To play, everyone must bring a gift to the party. Next, write down numbers on slips of paper from 1 to however many people are playing. Each person will draw a number at random, and the person who draws 1 will go first, followed by 2, and so on. For every turn, each person will have a choice to pick an unopened present or to steal the present of someone who went before them. Once a gift has been stolen twice, the gift becomes locked. Keep stealing and opening presents until all presents are locked or every present has been opened!

Pin the Nose on Rudolph

This one is great for kiddos and grown-ups alike. You can either purchase a pin the nose on Rudolph game or get creative and draw your own Rudolph and use red stickers as his nose. Whoever can get the closest to Rudolph's nose wins!

Jingle Bell Pong

Supplies needed: At least 12-20 plastic cups and lots of jingle bells.

Turn your college party favorite into a Christmas party crowd pleaser for all ages! For this game, get 6-10 plastic cups in bowling pin formation on each side of a table. With one player on each side, take turns throwing jingle bells into the cups on the other side of the table. Whoever gets the most jingle bells in wins!

Toy Touchdown

Supplies needed: Small toys or ornaments, a few small baskets, and ribbon or rope.

Hut, hut, hike! For this one, players will have to put their game faces on and get into pairs. One player from each pair will attach a basket to their back using a rope or ribbon. The other player will then pass small toys or ornaments through their legs, aiming for the basket on their partner’s back. Whichever pair gets the most toys in their basket wins!

Ornament Shake

Supplies needed: 1 emptied tissue box for each player, some pantyhose, duct tape, and many small, round ornaments.

Get your groove on with this fun game! Attach an emptied tissue box to a pair of pantyhose with duct tape. Tie the pantyhose around players’ waists and fill the tissue boxes with an equal number of round ornaments. When it’s time to play, players will try to shake, shimmy, and twist as much as they can to get all the ornaments out of their boxes. Whoever loses all their ornaments first, wins!

These five games are sure to bring lots of fun to your next holiday gathering.

Whether you’re celebrating with all your extended family or just hanging out with some friends, amp up the laughter and competition by trying a few of these out. You're sure to make some pretty incredible memories this holiday season.
