Legacybox Academy

An exciting alternative to the traditional high-school experience.

Legacybox Academy is a yearlong work-based-learning program that enables juniors and seniors from East Ridge and Brainerd high schools to complete the credits necessary for graduation while also getting paid to work alongside a trained staff and develop the professional skills they’ll need after graduation.

Class sessions and life lessons

You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by using the latest digitizing equipment to convert important family milestones.

Your average day will involve:

2 hours in the Learning Lab

Two hours in the Learning Lab, studying with an instructor to complete your coursework and earn your diploma.
4 hours in the Work Lab (paid time)

The other portion of your time is spent in a dedicated work space, processing customers’ orders and learning valuable workplace skills.
A 45-minute lunch break in the Learning Lab’s kitchen and lounge space

Enjoy some time in the lounge to relax, recharge and socialize with your classmates.

What we’re looking for

The team at Legacybox Academy is now accepting applicants for the fall semester.

Be in their junior or senior year at East Ridge or Brainerd High School
Possess basic computer knowledge and technical skills
Have a goal-oriented approach to daily tasks, with excellent attention to detail

Frequently lift up to 10 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
Stand/walk during their 5+ hour shifts

$15/hr
