Depending on where you live, it can be impossible to escape the blazing summer heat. Sometimes no amount of air conditioning or fanning can stop the sweating and the uncomfortable feeling that comes with temperatures above 80 degrees. The heat is the only downfall of summertime, and there’s really only one solution that can help us all beat it: popsicles!
Popsicles are a beloved treat among all age groups. Tiny kiddos and grownups alike reach for the freezer each summer to get some sweet relief from the heat in the form of frozen yummy goodness on a stick. Popsicles are the perfect summer treat - they’re cool, portable, and super delicious!

Nutella Fudge Popsicles
Makes 6 popsicles
Ingredients:
- ½ cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (AKA Nutella)
- 1 ½ cups chocolate almond milk
Directions:
Spoon the chocolate-hazelnut spread into a medium-sized bowl. Add the chocolate almond milk and whisk until smooth. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, add popsicle sticks, and freeze overnight.
Mango Banana Popsicles
Makes 6 popsicles
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces frozen banana chunks
- 1 ripe Haden mango, peeled and diced
Directions:
Blend the frozen bananas and the mango together in a blender or food processor. Spoon the mixture into popsicle molds, add popsicle sticks, and freeze overnight.
Strawberry and Yogurt Popsicles
Makes 6 popsicles
Ingredients:
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled
Directions:
Puree the strawberries in a blender or food processor. Alternate adding the strawberries and yogurt into the popsicle molds to create a layered effect. Add popsicle sticks and freeze overnight.
Watermelon and Coconut Popsicles
Makes 8 popsicles
Ingredients:
- 2 cups chopped watermelon
- ⅓ cup shredded coconut
- Fresh mint (optional)
Directions:
Blend the chopped watermelon in a blender or food processor until smooth. Add the shredded coconut and blend a bit longer. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, adding fresh mint periodically as you fill up each mold, if you wish. Add popsicle sticks and freeze overnight.
Pina Colada Popsicles
Makes 6 popsicles
Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 13.5 ounces full fat unsweetened coconut milk
- Shredded coconut (optional)
Directions:
Blend the pineapple chunks and coconut milk in a blender or food processor until smooth. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, adding shredded coconut in periodically as you fill up each mold, if you wish. Add popsicle sticks and freeze overnight.
