BUT you realized you’ve got more dusty videotapes or photos than your specific kit allows for.
What do you do? How do you proceed?
The short answer: Don’t worry. We’ve got you and your (extra) memories covered.
A lot of times when people are digging through their old analog media collection, they may find additional tapes, film reels or photos that they previously missed in their initial count. The last thing we want to do is have our customers miss out on precious memories because they didn’t account for the exact amount of media that the kit calls for. So, we took that into consideration, which is why our Legacybox kits are ready for exactly that scenario!
Here’s how it works
Say you ordered the 10 item family kit. But once your Legacybox kit arrives, maybe you happen to find an additional two home movie VHS home tapes.
All you have to do is simply follow the welcome guide that comes with a full, easy-to-follow set of instructions for packaging and barcoding your individual items. This unique barcoding system is tracked to your specific order and is the best and safest way to keep track of everything you send in for digitization.
Every barcode booklet includes the exact number of prepaid barcodes that you accounted for, as well as additional add-on barcodes to cover those extra two tapes or more.
Add-on barcodes
When your kit arrives at your home, you’ll be able to easily decipher between the accounted for barcodes and the add-on barcodes because the prepaid included set will say “Included item $0” in GREEN, while the add-on barcodes will say “Add-on item $17.99” in RED.
All you need to do is simply place the add-on barcodes onto your extra tapes and ship it everything off in the included prepaid, crush-proof box.
Behind the scenes
Once the order is received at our state-of-the-art digitization facility, each unique barcoded item will be scanned so we can easily and securely keep track of every item during the entire digitization process. When one of your add-on barcoded items is scanned, our system will generate an email notifying you of the invoice for your add-on item(s).
