How Long is the Legacybox Process?

If you’ve been interested in trying out Legacybox for a while, you’re on the right track to getting your most precious photos, film, tapes, and audio preserved so that you and your loved ones can enjoy them forever. There’s nothing more important in this life than the ones you love, and the memories made with those people are some of the best moments in life.

Digitization ensures that each memory we’ve caught on camera is copied and saved safely on our computers or in the cloud.
With Legacybox, you can get many different types of analog media digitized by our professional digitization technicians without the hassle of ever leaving your home. In fact, when you order your Legacybox digitization kit, we’ll send you all the shipping materials and instructions you need, making it super easy for you to get the digitization process started. Once we receive your media and digitize it, we’ll send the digital copies along with your originals back to you. It’s that easy!

You might be wondering how long this entire process may take from the time you order your Legacybox kit online to the moment your digitized media arrives on your doorstep. The answer to this question depends on a couple of factors, but you can expect the entire process to take somewhere between 10 to 12 weeks.

Once your media reaches our facility, the actual digitization process can take anywhere between 10 to 12 weeks. This is because of the volume of shipments we receive, how many items each customer sends, as well as the time it takes to hand digitize your media carefully and expertly. We like to make sure we give our customers the best digitization possible, and often times this requires special attention and time on each piece of media sent our way.

We also like to give 3-6 days for shipping - the initial outbound shipment of the Legacybox to your home, the inbound shipment from your home to our facility with your originals packed inside the box, and the final outbound to your home with your digitized copies and originals inside.

During busy times of the year, especially around Christmas and New Year's, the entire process may be extended due to the heavy volume of orders we receive around the Holidays as well as the increased volume of shipments being handled by the postal service.

When we receive packages of original media from our customers, we want to ensure the best quality of service is given. That’s why we have our 100% satisfaction guarantee.

We hope that this information on the Legacybox process was helpful, and we hope you enjoy viewing your digitized media with your loved ones!
