No worries! We'd love to help digitize ALL the media in your collection. We include extra safety item barcodes with every Legacybox in case you have more media you'd like digitized. If you do send in more items, we'll simply invoice you for these items once we check in your order at our processing facility.
Digitizing your analog media by hand is more of an art than a science, so while we can estimate processing times, it varies depending on your order's size and the type of media you send in, in addition to current demand. At this time, Standard Processing takes around 10-12 weeks. We also offer expedited options at checkout if you need your order back faster.
Every order includes regular status updates throughout the process in addition to access to a personal concierge to answer all your questions.

Convert Negatives to Digital
The freestanding Fotomats have all disappeared, and you no longer take rolls of film to the drugstore. This means it’s important to get your old photo negatives digitized before they erode completely, taking your memories with them.
If you took photography in high school, you had access to the darkroom and were probably using it to develop negatives. You learned that prints come from negatives, those 24mm x 36mm reverse images that came on processed film strips. You could make prints big or small, dark or light, and you could use development tricks to change each print. When all was said and done, you had photo prints and probably figured the old negatives could be used to reprint forever.
Negatives were considered the backup files of film photography, but it turns out, they don’t last forever. They can degrade, and you don’t want to be left behind with a shoebox full of ones that are unusable. Technology has changed everything, and now you have the option to digitize negatives to save those memories
